CORE-spotting at the 2021 Tour de France

Glancing back one year - the CORE Body Temperature Monitor sensor technology was officially launched at the 2020 Tour de France and a 'Mystery Team' were using CORE, following each stage we published the rider core body temperature data.

Fast forward to the 2021 Tour de France and because of the popularity of CORE, it is easier for us to say who is not using CORE. We formerly supply a number of the UCI WorldTeams and have also just added Team INEOS Grenadiers and Movistar. However, there are also a host of teams and riders who we don't formally supplying (yet) who are also using the CORE technology.

One of the advantages of CORE is that it is quite discrete. This means that CORE sensor is as simple as a heart rate monitor sensor or cadence sensor in that it doesn't distract nor require special attention.

However as it is discrete, this also means that the CORE is hard to spot as it can be almost invisible when it is attached securely to the pro-riders heart rate monitor strap and positioned under the jersey.

We have compiled a few photos and media from the 2021 Tour de France where we have spotted CORE. These are from team that we officially supply however if you watch the race carefully, you will also a number of spot riders from other teams who are also using CORE.

When you spot a CORE - please share and tag us #corebodytemp
