Looking to connect with others in the CORE community and learn more about heat training? Join CORE's first-ever group heat training session on Zwift, hosted by CORE's Endurance Performance Lead, Aline Barre. Check out the CORE Club on Zwift and don't forget to attend the event on Monday!

When? Monday, September 29th, 2025 at 18:30 CEST / 12:30pm EST

Who is this for? Everyone – whether you are an experienced heat champion looking to share a sweat or someone new to heat training looking to learn more.

What will the format be? CORE's Endurance Performance Lead, Aline Barre, will guide the group through the following structured heat session. The ride will be rubberbanded to ensure everyone stays together.

  • 5 min warm up (50-55% FTP)
  • 3x5min ramp up (power 70-80%, 80-90%, 90-100% FTP)
  • 40 min Z1 (40-55% FTP) - goal is to be in Heat Zone 3

About Your Ride Leader

Aline Barre, CORE's Endurance Performance Lead, works with and advises all of CORE's professional teams and athletes on getting the most out of CORE and their heat training. Aline has her masters in Sports Performance Analysis and is an accomplished multisport athlete who has incorporated heat prep into her own training for races such as Badlands and IRONMAN triathlons.
