FAQ - The green light does not appear when I shake the CORE sensor
< Back to CORE FAQ
Either the device is in deep sleep mode or the battery is not charged. In some cases, the sensor might be having a software issue.
Note that you may have to shake the sensor vigorously as only an acceleration above a certain threshold will wake up the sensor.
If the battery is depleted, connecting CORE to the charging cable (and charging it) will resolve this.
Please be aware that some power banks may not work as the CORE draws too little power so please use a computer or powered USB charging device.
Moreover, if the battery has been fully discharged, the initial charging phase may take longer than usually, up to 1-2 hours. During this initial phase, the green light does not flash nor is your CORE able to connect to the phone. Just be patient and let it charge for at least two hours straight before you check again.
If none of the above helps, the sensor might be having a software issue. You can try to resolve the issue by resetting the sensor with a magnet.
